How much does it cost to paint?
Our prices generally range from $10-$100 + sales tax depending on the pottery you select. Our prices are all inclusive, so no hidden fees!
Do you take walk-ins for painting?
Yes! You can come in anytime during our open hours to paint (though we do recommend getting started at least 2 hours before we close so you have plenty of time to paint).
Do you offer shipping?
Absolutely! Shipping is available within the USA for a small fee. We package everything with care and strive to get the cheapest postal rates we can so your pots can safely arrive to you. To make arrangements, please email our sister location, Bookworm Pottery & Co., at bookwormpotteryco@gmail.com once you receive your pickup email.
Do you offer private sessions?
We sure do! We love hosting bachelorettes, birthday parties, corporate events & more. We can host private groups of 4-30 people on-site for a 2-hour event. Our deposit price of $45 per person goes toward your total for the session. Just send us an email via thecozybookwyrm@gmail.com to get started.
Are you dog friendly?
YES! We love dogs. Please bring your pups by. Have we mentioned that we love them? And Cafe Mata has treats next door.
(Other pets are welcome too if they’re friendly and trained!)
Can I BYOB & snacks?
Of course! Adults over the age of 21 may BYOB (provided that you do not enter or exit the premises with any open alcoholic containers), and snacks are welcome! Just bring your own cups, plates, and utensils. Cafe Mata also serves delicious coffee and baked goods next door during their open hours.

Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Accessibility is important to us. We have handicap parking, as well as an elevator beside the Cafe Mata entrance. Seating accommodations and extra assistance are available when needed. If our differently-abled friends have any suggestions to help us improve in this regard, we welcome the feedback to make sure everyone has a comfortable & cozy experience with us.
What if there is an issue in the kiln?
Not all pieces are guaranteed to perfectly make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed, and unseen issues with the pottery can sometimes cause accidents in the kiln. However, the goal is to just have fun, so don’t stress about it! If your piece is damaged in the kiln, we will do our best to repair it. If we cannot, we will offer a free makeup session or repaint it for you, per your preference.
